    For the record and those suggestions about using a flashlight, have you tried holding a flashlight and texting at the same time? Not that easy... not to mention the battery dies pretty fast too on those.

    A small flashlight may be held between one's lips while texting.

    Why does one require a flashlight while texting anyway? Is he a spy on a limited budget? That would explain using an OS 7 device.

    The Classic is the only viable alternative, due to its toolbar. BB's trackpad is a thing of beauty.
