Once on 10.3.3, you can't go back to 10.3.2 or prior.

Well that's pretty dumb, I think blackberry should let us do that as bb10 is a dead OS and they don't care about it anymore

It's a feature of BlackBerry anti-theft. It won't let you go back to a version that would allow you to wipe and sign in without the current BBID.

It is required by legislation in the United States.

Really? Well I live in the United Kingdom and I have no idea if it's still a legislation here as well

But thanks bud, now I know I can't downgrade, would be nice to have a bb10 device that ran 10.3.1 out of the box

    May I ask why?

10.3.3 is better in every way, and is the only version with the Krack patch.

I just want the original firmware because I never actually tried bb 10.2.1 or 10.3.1

    Agreed.

    Nothing wrong with 10.3.3.

It shipped with 10.3.1, so there is nothing prior than that anyway.

10.3.2 and 10.3.3 are essentially security enhancements and bug fixes for the most part.

You don't want 10.2.1 believe me. It was not great. The OS firmware has improved with each new iteration (with the exception maybe of 1 or 2 firmwares which had runtime bugs and radio problems). 10.3.3.3216 is a VERY stable and fluid firmware.

Do you happen to know what changes were made from 10.3.3.2136 to. 2137? I just now got a 3MB update labeled "BlackBerry Applications ". I guess I had given up on updates.

That update is only for a default app that you probably had removed previously. Nothing important.

You are on the same OS. Check again.

The 3MB is just replacing some app you deleted.

Will say that .3 brought new life to the browser... Op you really don't want to downgrade.

There is no way of going back. You could risk bricking your device, if it even passed. Then you would be without a device entirely. Nobody wants that to happen, not even me.

If you meant 10.0, with the original hub and peak stuff, that is looooong gone.
