Too few online stores in Australia sells blackberries, and their prices are freakishly high, but the official BlackBerry Australia site was gone and redirected to the global site, and neither amazon nor BlackBerry store was opened to Australia (actually amazon has Australia store, but only sells e-books and kindles) So do you guys have any idea where to buy a BlackBerry with a lower price? BTW Optus is definitely not selling BlackBerry.

Not true about Optus. Many of us purchased our devices from there. Are you looking for a Classic or a Passport? I helped many people to purchase their Passports through Optus. I'm guessing by your username that you're after the Classic. Not sure about that device but we're working to push Optus to at least give us an answer regarding the Classic. I hope to have a response by the time 10.3.1 is officially released.

You will be able to buy the Classic from Telstra stores as of Tuesday 27/01/14. I have confirmed this myself with several Telstra staff. The outright price is suppose to be $504.
