When will Blackberry Motion will come in India and what could be the Price?
Possibly never. Different licensee Optiemus is there and that licensee is responsible for either designing their own devices or buying from elsewhere and rebranding.
I expect Optiemus and BBMo will come to an agreement... about the same time line as the KEYone made it to India after it's launch. April/May.... But just a guess.
But the India market is full of large touchscreens with huge batteries for much less than the Motion. Might be that buying from an unofficial source is the only option you'll have.
I think BBMo/Optiemus deal was temporary until Optiemus started manufacturing their own KEYone devices. I believe each licensee was given design rights to KEYone since it was last design from BB itself. Perhaps, BBMo could subcontract and sublicense it's own designs to other licensees though. Possible interesting strategy for additional volume?
