    I just downloaded an apk for the Google play store version of whatsapp. It's working flawlessly except that the chats aren't showing up in my hub. Any workarounds for this?

    'Flawlessly' must mean something different to you than I. Try sending images or video. And no, no fix for chats in the Hub.

    Of course, it has been said a lot of times: there's no relation between the Android .apk and the OS 10 .bar. The problem is: how longer is it going to work because of the outdated Android Runtime? There are already users who reported not being able to pass the setup. It's just a temporary solution: you should use the official OS 10 version until may, and then the Android version until you buy a new phone.

    Bla1ze kinda indicted it doesn't work now.....

    There is a good chance that it will function as it does now... past that point. But then we really don't know what all WhatsApp has planned. Maybe in addition to shutting down server access to older API and clients.... they implement some new security features that only Android 5.0 and above can implement. Or maybe they extend the shutdown another six months...

    DISA is still a beta product.... and it's functionality is not the best on Android. Never tried it on BB10.

    The question is does WhatsApp officially support the plug-in for DISA, or is it using those same older APIs that are being shutdown.
