Which phone are you talking about? The Q10 or the Z30?
Since the Z30 100-1 (STA100-1) is next to impossible to buy, I'll assume you were talking about the Q10 100-1 (SQN100-1.)
Here are the bands in each SQN100-x I'm assuming you have asked about:
SQN100-1: LTE 17/5/4/2 UMTS 6/5/2/1
SQN100-3: LTE 20/8/3/7 UMTS 6/5/8/2/1
SQN100-5: LTE 17/5/4/2 UMTS 6/5/4/2/1
As you can see, the -5 is the -1 with an extra UMTS 1700 band. Both models are used in North and South America. The -3 is used by GSM carriers in other parts of the world (Europe, Australia, Asia, etc,) but also by two Canadian carriers.
