never met a stingray device. maybe someone who has can tell you. But i don't think you need to worry about a Priv sending too much private or any private info. It is a BlackBerry with BlackBerry apps and security you know. It's what they all say!
Sorry but voice and text are pretty much sent in the open.....
Would need to look into adding a BES account with some Certicom magic to safeguard those...
