    If this horror came true and bb10 was put to rest, would blackberry provide a bb on android OS for those if us have have current bb10 phones?

    If BBRY were to put BB10 on EOL (end of life), the devices would still function. It just means no updates. Could possibly mean no BlackBerry World eventually. You'd still have the operational device you had purchased.

    By that time all BB10 devices will likely have been released 2-4 years prior.

    Yup. Similar with BBOS, already EOL for quite some time, and yet my 9900 still keeps chugging along. B-)
