As title says. I'm running through the dumb "no applications to manage" crap in the permission section so I don't want to have permissions on for no reason. Since some things work within apps whether the permission is on or not. So yeah, what does that permission allow and not allow whether it's on or off? Thanks .

But I think it does it already without the permission being on. Or no?

Why would you think that restricting Facebook the use of the calendar wouldn't stop it for using the calendar?

No. If you turn it off, it can't access the calendar.
