Today I had a Javascript warning that popped up on my screen. The warning said to press ok to delete it. I was scared to do so, so I shut down my phone en restarted it. It works fine. But is my smartphone now infected?

I hope someone can help me.

    Thanks

By any chance, were you looking at a web page or an app that uses a web viewer?

No infections...just spam...delete and you're good to go.

No, I wasn't. Earlier at the day I was playing a quizgame on kahoot.it, never played it before. But I don't know if that caused the warning?

Funny you should mention this happening. Earlier today I opened my browser and it went to a page other than my home page. I glanced at it and closed the browser (the native by the way). When I opened the browser again all was normal.

Later in the day I had a strange entry (it looked like an email) in the Hub, in a mixture of a foreign language or languages with a bit of English in the mix. It was of great length and mentioned undia a number of times. I deleted that and then checked my email accounts on my computers and it hadn't shown up there.

Does anyone have any experiences similar to mine today?

sorry about getting back to you late, but it seems you got your answer.
I'm finding ads/spam are becoming a little more pushy in some apps.

Stay away from 9gag and similar garbage sites....they just throw spam your way.
