Because T-Mobile and BB have severed ties, I am wondering if anyone has had success configuring a BB handheld for Tmo UMA on a non-Tmobile branded BB handset listed. Is there a good link to a list of steps to add / configure UMA for Tmo?

UMA=hardware based WiFi calling; not present in BB10. The last UMA-capable device may have been the 9780, or maybe one of the OS7 Curves.

Software based WiFi calling is supported in BB10, but if your carrier doesn't offer WiFi calling (WFC,) there's no way to make it work. The only carrier that I know of that supports WFC on BB10 is T-Mobile US. But they only offer it on the Z10 (STL100-3) and the Q10 (SQN100-5.)

UMA could be enabled on any BBOS UMA-capable phone (regardless of whether or not it came from a UMA carrier,) but this is not quite the case with BB10. I say 'not quite' because you can still get WFC on a STL100-3 or SQN100-5 regardless of its origin, but it has to be that model of the Z10 or Q10. You can't, for example, get WFC to work on a SQN100-1.
