    BlackBerry Link fails to open my backed up file. Have tried all ways to do it but all fail.
    Is there a third party software that can open it?

    You can't open the file with any software, but if you're having trouble restoring a backup with Link, you could try Sachesi: ​http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...taller-825409/

    You cannot extract it, you can restore your BlackBerry through Sachesi.
