I'm looking into buying a blackberry 9900 but I have a nano SIM card. If I were to put the nano SIM card into an adapter inorder to prevent breakage will the nano SIM work since the phone is 4g ?

    Yes and adapter will work.....

But the 9900 is a BBOS powered phone that requires a BIS plan to operate correctly, so the real issue might be what type of plan is that nano SIM Card that you have... attached to. That and making sure all the frequency of the ATT 9900 work with your network.

I did just that and it took a bit, was it seconds or minutes?, to figure it out but it did automatically, ATnT seems pretty well set up, however, an LTE enabled phone's simcard might not switch back and forth nice and you may even be told you have to get a new simcard from ATtnT.
