    To keep things simple I want to get a wired mouse. No tiny dongle to lose, no wireless conflicts.

    But even if you tried wireless which you tested?

    Any types that won't work?

    Old USB mouse plugged into a USB to C adapter should do methinks, then just need to buy the adapter and tape it to mouse's USB end.
