Apart from a well-documented android runtime error I haven't encountered any significant issues. Many others have posted otherwise.
If you choose to update, do so through BBLINK rather than OTA. Regardless read through the following for more insight....

Do not do it. Please search OS 2876 (that is the OS for version 2836)

There is no plus side to this version, only misery. There are news articles on here about fixes to this version number that do not work.

The only cure once you've installed this version is to wipe your phone with an autoloader. OS 2813 is the highest OS that is safe at this time. Turn off your auto updates and do not pay attention to it.

In a few weeks they are suppose to release 10.3.3 - that might be something worth upgrading to. Depends if they decide to keep sabotaging people's phones or not.

Don't do it. It isn't worth it. The big will eventually make your apps worthless and lead to poor battery life.

There isn't any reason to wipe the phone when using Sachesi to downgrade to version 2813. Just uncheck "only newer versions" and go for it. I did that this weekend. No wipe, no issues.

2836 and 2876 are the same exact thing. One is a version number and one is the OS. If you have either one you have a problem.

Taking it down to 2813 is the easiest solution. But yes you can put 2813 ART on 2836/2876 but you still have to be sure not to accept any updates.

My advice to anyone is that 2836/2876 isn't worth it. 2813 will give you peace of mind and it's what I'd tell anyone I cared about for sure.

Actually I missed typed. I was intending to refer to 2813, which is the OS version I downgraded to without wiping. I'll fix that error in my post. Thanks for pointing it out.
