update for facebook and messenger usibg aok

Is there a way to update Facebook and Facebook messenger to their latest version? Using apk, every time I try It either dosent install or it gives me a message saying unable to to update app.

Neither works on BB10.

Use Facebook Lite and Messenger Lite instead.
