Unable to make BBM voice call

Hi, I am unable to make BBM bm voice call in my BlackBerry Classic now. The icon turned grey and whenever I tap on it, the message "Connecting to the BBM video service. Please wait and try again " appears. Kindly let me know why is this happening. Thanks in advance.

try turning on and off your device and update to the latest bbm version. It may also be that there is maitinance being done
