[CrackBerry Question]

Someone came to me with this Z3 and stated that he was prompted to update his device when he plugged it into his computer, so he did that. After the update he was not able to connect to Wi-Fi.

When I powered on the device it took me to the initial setup screen to select language. Next it prompts you to insert a SIM card to connect to a mobile network or continue to the next screen to connect to a Wi-Fi network.

The next screen says "You need a data connection to continue. Please connect to a Wi-Fi network." However, when I try to add any network and connect, it just sticks on the screen saying "Connecting" with the circle just spinning.I've tried connecting to the computer using BBLink. I get a pop-up at the bottom of my screen saying device is connected but on BBLink the device is not recognized

Try change the WiFi password to 10 digits

If you continue to have issues try to force recognition by completing a hard reboot while device is connected to Link.
When recognized reload the OS.
