    Hi, since about 2 days I'm not able to check if there is an update or not. When checking, I simply get to read 'unable to connect to the update server' (screenshot below).

    Does get anybody the same message? Could it mean, that they are preparing it for the update?
    I got my Passport from shop BlackBerry and I'm on Vodafone Germany.

    Would appreciate any ideas what this might mean.

    might not mean anything. you can install the update now if you want to. We have it here.

    Are you outside the area of your provider? In a foreign country? I was in Sweden an Danmark this year. First idea: check for OS update there - damned: unable to connect to update server.

    No, I'm at home. The last time I did update my device was from home too, so that shouldn't be it. I was just wondering, because it seems a little strange to me. I just hope it will work soon enough. Thanks for the response.

    I'm on WiFi, but thanks for the idea to try it on data. Sadly I get the same message. Well, hopefully the issue will get fixed in the near future.

    Could be an issue with the server there. Have you done a reboot?
