I'm also hoping for Uber, for my BlackBerry Q10. The version on Google Play relies on Google Play services, so it won't run on BlackBerry. I hope it shows up in BlackBerry World someday.

There is Uber mobile website. You need to register so you will be granted access
https://m.uber.com/
Thanks

Last time I visited the site, it looked as if you could not actually arrange for a ride, only register. Has that changed? I'll check....

Oh!! It looks as if you can! I was on their regular site, as opposed to the m.uber.com one. I wasn't aware of the latter! Thank you!!!

Yup, m.uber works just as well as the app.
I use it all the time

Uber works fine.
Follow the simple steps here:

I use it all the time on my Q10, never fails.
Q10 on 10.3.2.2204
I just downloaded the patched file and installed it on my Q10. It crashes upon start-up. Would that be because I'm still on v. 10.2 of the BlackBerry OS? (T-Mo has yet to release v. 10.3.)

Also, do I also need to install Google Play services and Google Maps for the app to work properly? Sorry in advance if these questions are kinda dumb.

Normally you need Cobalt's modified Google Play Services apps and be on 10.3.2 for most patched apps to work.

Oh, I see. OK, thx. Again, I'm not as tech-savvy, so I think I'll just stick to Uber's mobile site until there's a version created that doesn't rely on Google Play services (assuming that day ever comes). Besides, I hear a lot of negative stuff about Google Play services related to privacy and such.
