I find this not really normal since I dont use twitter that often.. is twittly but nemory studios does eat this kind of bat/data.. ive been thinking of deleting my stock twitter app.. specially because of the battery consumption. It does it lots of juice compared to Face10 whom I set the notif interval every 10 sec

Under Appmanager|Application Permissions I have deactivated all options for twitter, and do not seem to have a battery problem - hope that helps!

yeah I know that.. its just im not using twitter that often for battery consumption to be just like that.. as u see its even consuming more bat compared to my face10 with notif interval to 10 sec. and I used facetime more..

Twitter, which means the stock Twitter app here, does refreshes of the timeline in every possible situation, especially after a post (don't know why). If you send a post of 50 characters this can cause a network traffic of 1 MB or even more, depends on your timeline. If you let the Twitter app open it refreshes continously depending on the interval you configured. On old BBOS7 the Twitter app had an option to stop this, on BB10 this option is gone. This idiotic network traffic is the reason why I don't use this app anymore. Take Blaq.
