    Just got my z30 today. How do I turn off bbm updates to my contacts. I have one today that went out to my contacts that says "I made the switch to blackberry 10". I didn't want that, how do I turn that off?

    You can't. Annoying, I know.

    Especially since that stupid "made the switch" message only happens when you are first setting up bbm.. aka I'm busy.

    I've been up at 4am messing around with my phone/os and people see that I'm awake and try to start conversations with me
