Why when I turn on my blackberry z30 nothing is responsive I would go check my texts in the hub and when I click on a text I wouldn't even open up and when it does open up it doesn't show that's it's read and when I try to place a call it wouldn't unless I want like 5-10 min after the phone is on then everything works normally

Z30 on latest 10.3.1 here and my device is ready to go from cold boot in under 2 minutes. 5 email account and all social/android s**t possible loaded.

If you can't really figure out what's making it stall, go the nuke route:

• Backup your device using BlackBerry Link - only media and apps but make sure not to include BlackBerry Runtime;
• Create a second backup - this time only add settings;
• Download an autoloader for the SAME OS version you have;
• Run the autoloader and let it wipe the device and reinstall the OS;
• Do the setup on the device;
• Restore ONLY apps and media

From this point, I say you are better off setting the device up and adding accounts manually, that's because it is usually some bogus setting that causes issues, so restoring the settings bakcup may mess it all up again.

Once you're done setting up and adding your accounts, give it an hour to finish syncs and reboot. It should be around 30-60 seconds to boot and another 30-60 to load the HUB and everything else up.
