    Hi cb nation,

I am planning to get a passport.I was wondering if I can get all the apps in my current phone(q10) to passsport via BlackBerry link?

I have made folders for apps and don't want to undergo the tiring process of again downloading and arranging the same from new phone.

Thanks in advance for your valuable suggestions.

You would be able to download all the apps as they are synced against the BBID on BBW, but you would have to set up the apps and organise your app screen again.

There is a tab when you connect your phone to BlackBerry Link dedicated to backing up and restoring.

    Transferring q10 apps to Passport-screenshot_1.png

If you do a full backup and a full restore, all your apps (Except sideloaded apps) will be in put back into the phone in the same order.

You'll have to re-sideload all the sideloaded apps.

There is also a device switch option. You plug in both the old device and the new one, and it will move all your stuff over.

Maybe you haven't installed the drivers or inserted the password yet.

The device is not recognising is my win 7 laptop. After connecting passport to laptop I am only seeing BlackBerry cd drive.

When clicking on the drive BlackBerry blend window is opening and asking to install. However a pop up message is coming saying make sure you are connected to internet and try again. My internet connection is fine and working.

While I click on install drivers only again the error isa newer version of BlackBerry device is currently installed. Please uninstall the newer version before attempting to install this version

Aside I have been trying to sign in via BlackBerry link and it says check internet connection. My internet is working fine and don't know why this error is coming..

All help will be highly appreciated

Managed to install drive successfully. Now I can see the drives in my computer. Now BlackBerry link is identifying passport but it's saying could not connect.

    Error is unrecognised BlackBerry device
