    Old priv screen died. Got new priv today. Is there any way I can transfer data from old to new, if old screen is black?

    I'm not sure how BB protect deals with transfers. There's Content Transfer but you probably need access to the old unit. Can you CAST the screen to a TV? Have you been using Google to backup and sync email, etc? If so, using the same Google ID when setting up the new device might transfer some stuff.

    Only if you previously had been backing it up (and backing up those backups).

    As FF22 said, using the same Google ID should get you started... unless you turn off that feature.
