    Is there a way to turn off the yellow hints that you get in various places in the OS?

    For ex. On the lockscreen if you swipe incorrectly then you get the yellow notification that tells you an alt way to unlock the phone etc? I don't mind them but asking for a friend and it stumped me. Couldn't find it anywhere in the settings.

    Nope, most of them stop themselves but the Lock screen one is permanent
