    This is a particular frustration when using the maps app, whereby an incoming call will take over the whole screen. Most other devices, if you are already in an app, will show a minimised incoming caller tab as to not take over the whole device.

    Is there a way to change this, it is currently making the navigation function unusable when people are calling at the same time.

    no, this is built into the OS. Never heard of a way to change this.
