    I have tried the normal process of security wipe but I don't get the txt box appear, I just get delete data button and then onto my blackberry ID which I've forgot.

    I don't think your issue has anything to do with the SD card or sim card.


    You really need your BlackBerry ID for a security wipe. If you manage to force a wipe without using the ID, you will still need it on first boot.
