Just wondering if there is something similar to NUM lock to keep the symbol keyboard open for entering more than one character without having to keep hitting the symbol key for each character needed?

Same for emoji symbols when texting. I can enter only one at a time. If I would like more than one emoji I must hit the emoji button for each character typed.

Surely I am just un aware of how to do these things as it would be a big miss if BB10 would not allow these simple key press activities.

    Thank you!

Not that I'm aware of unfortunately. I've looked on the Q10 (same pkb as the Classic) for those features, but I don't think they exist. The capacitive pkbs on the Passport and Priv may have them, though.
