I just received my Q10..T-Mobile is my carrier. I have my gmail set up I get gmail emails perfectly, but I cannot get the phone contacts from my gmail account to transfer into the Q10. Is the a way that will work. I've tried a few

When I look at my contacts options, Gmail is not listed...just the usual..twitter, favorites, groups..etc

Delete the account and set back up and make sure you check off sync contacts.

Just did this deketed gnail...then went to accounts advanced gmail typed in the ifo then it went to my gmail screen screen out in my password and it linked up BUT no contacts to choose from in my "contacts" there was no option to sync contacts

It sometimes takes a while! How long have you waited? Under "accounts" does it show up under Gmail? If not, add the account again

Also, swipe down while in Contacts and make sure what you need has a check.

Why choose "Advanced "? Why not choose. The first option: Add Email, Calendar and CONTACTS..

I actually did it last night.....under accts. Gmail only states "email" my work email..Microsoft exchange states email, contacts...I do have the work email contacts so this is correct.....gmail contacts (182) of them are M.I.A the server address when I sert up gmail came up as imap.gmail.com not sure of this is the default server address or if I have to change it

I just went to advanced bc it had GMAIL in the option line..that's the only reason why...I will try the way you are saying right now

well looks like the way you said worked perfectly....not sure why it wouldn't when I went to advanced and hit the already installed gmail line, then set it up from there....a little weird but oh well........THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO RESPONDED..I AM NEW HERE AND AM GREATFUL FOR THE HELP !!!
