My sister gave me the Z10 as she has a new phone, but it is locked with T-Mobile, how can I unlock it so I can use it with other operators. I do not live in the states and I travel a lot so it would be useful to have it to use in different countries and operators

I do remember free unlocking for legacy BBs, but nothing for BB10.

This. If the phone is paid off and she's been a TMO postpaid customer for at least 40 days, they should send her the code in 2-3 business days. If not, she can tell them she'll be traveling internationally and wants faster than the 2G data they offer overseas.
