Loving my new Blackberry Key2 LE! Is there a desktop app to sync and backup Blackberry Andoid devices? I am thinking of the old Blackberry Desktop Manager or Samsung's Smart Switch as an example?

Not officially. There are several third-party desktop solutions (most paid) that you can look at and consider.
Care to recommend a good one?
Never used any of them. Never had a reason to. Everything I ever want to back up is minimal and can be done manually or is already covered by the existing functions.
Probably showing my age here, but what about the need to sync contacts between desktop apps and Blackberry or simply syncing your music library. How can I handle those situations?
Google syncs my contacts automatically. Any other modern email service will do the same. I can move music files using USB, or through Google Play Music. You can upload whatever you want to Google Play Music from your computer and have it appear on your device.
I currently use Yahoo because my email is at&t, however, I could switch to Google if needed. Typically a new contact is launched on my Blackberry as opposed to my desktop. Yahoo mail only syncs from desktop to mobile device. Does Google sync in both directions? If so, it would probably be worth the switch. Still working on a solution for music, but I have nothing decent yet. Regards,
Gmail and Outlook sync in both directions. As for photos and files, including music files, it's easiest to use Google Drive. There is a setting in the phone that enables automatic sync to GDrive. I use mostly OneDrive, and I sync my photos and videos to it as well. GDrive is a backup solution - a backup for a backup.
Thanks for your help! Making progress. Have switched my business mail to Gmail. Regarding music, I own an extensive collections of CDs which I have ripped to my desktop. Using USB, I have done a copy and paste of my entire Music folder contents to my Key2 LE Music folder. When viewed from file manager, all content is present, however, only a small fraction of the music appears in Google Play Music. This process worked on my previous Android phone. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Regards, Xploy
