I have recently received a request from a user to share work calendars on a Blackberry.

One of the ways that this can be achieved is by allowing users to Publish their work Outlook Calendars as an Internet Calendar (iCAL) and then invite users to subscribe to the Calendar on their mobile device.

I don't believe this would be secure unless you were within a workspace environment on a BES. And in that case you would not need to be using iCal, the BES would handle everything.
