I want to play my video lectures and listen to them while away from my desk and such, with my Z30 in my pocket.

Problem is that the videos are encoded in FLV format. Av Player pro plays some vides fine, but keeps crashing on certain videos and restarting. The same videos work fine on the side loaded VLC Android app, so its not an issue with my microSD card, nor the files themselves.

I would keep using the VLC app, however it doesn't run in the background, hence I am looking for a decent BB10 native alternative.

Anyone have any suggestions? Its such a simple thing, but it is absolutely driving me nuts. I don't expect much of my phone honestly, but this just seems ridiculous not being able to reliably play my videos!

I'm currently making a Native App (10.3.1 minimum) which focuses on Background playing, according to this it (may) well play:

Can try the beta if you want, if you have a small file I can try it for you

Interesting because VLC won't open on my Z30 and crashes when prompted yet works fine on my Q10
