Don't download Downtube This is an absolute junkie product, it doesn't work and only acts a hook into your system to spam you with notifications to buy their other products. There is no way to stop this. This shouldn't be allowed, the spammed notifications come with the title "Featured App" so that you think they are from blackberry but there not.

You don't need an app... just insert ss before the Web address of the video you want to download and Pronto you are on... example: ss.youtube.com/anyvideoyouwanttodownload

you mean to say put ssyoutube.com/... not ss.youtube.com

SaveFrom is quite quick with the links for mobile but i find a better downloader at ClipConverter.cc for the PC, a simple copy/paste job of the url will work easy, or their sideloaded chrome extension works just great.
