There's Google Voice Input (Settings > Language & input > Google Voice Input for settings). To invoke it press and hold 0 (physical keyboard) or , (virtual keyboard).
None of that works for me. I can say "OK Google" and say like "BBM Kris" or "text" or "phone" ect.
Do you have Assistant available? I.e., does it pop up when you long press the circle button?
Just testing this thing
What text message service are you using? I have Verizon Messages and there's a microphone icon next to the text box. I just hold that and speak. It sends an audio recording to the recipient.
Assistant? I don't know. When I say "OK Google" something pops up. When I press the circle... I don't normally have the keyboard open. I checked and nothing pops up.
I don't know if this is Android or this phone but there is so much new stuff on the Priv/Android, no idea how to use it or even find out that it is there. It must be the Android (I am guessing.)
This is Assistant:
So if you get that, just say "text so and so", then it should ask you what to send, then say it and send. It might not work well with some SMS apps, though.
And you can see the voice keyboard icon on the comma key here:
Here's a test with Telegram:
The area where you said "voice keyboard icon on " I don't get that.
Where you said "Here's a test with Telegram"
I get something like this. But I only get this if I said "OK google"
Otherwise, I don't know how to get it up and touching keys doesn't seem to work.
SO... it does seem to work. I guess. lol
Are you using the BlackBerry keyboard?
