Living near downtown L.A. using an old Blackberry Curve 8900, and want to upgrade to a Z30. Which format should I get to work best with T-Mobile of the STA100-1, STA100-2, STA100-3, or STA100-5 ?
Also, I assume my current SIM card will also work on the Z30, correct?

    STA100-5

The same version that's sold in shop blackberry.

    It uses a micro sim.

STA100-1 is even better, if you can get your hands on one.

I have the STA100-5 and it works great. I get great 4G LTE, and it's even better because of the Paratek antenna on the Z30.

For the sim, it uses a micro one. As far as I know, if you use a cutter with the current sim, any damage to the phone while inserting it won't be covered.

So play it safe and get a new micro sim from your carrier.
