Well, as BlackBerry seems to have all but ditched OS10 I thought I would try a well reviewed but cheap end Android Moto 3G. Swapped sim and sd cards over from Z30 to Moto and all went fine. 2 days later all my contacts on sim card and music & photos on sd card have disappeared. I really hope sim and sd card are not corrupted but can there be another reason? I need all these files back.

have you taken the sd card out of the phone and tried it in a PC?

Try putting the card back in Z30 and see if it came up and if it did, then you know where the problem is!

Will the app Device Switch allow copying of all my Calendar and Remember Notes? If so how do they migrate to the correct Android equivalent file?
