Hi - I have recently been using blackberry Q5 - I have smashed the screen - so trying to resurrect an old 8320 to use.
It asks for a PIN to unlock phone which I do not have any more? Any suggestions?

Pin as in the your passcode? Or pin as in the code to unlock the phone to be used with any carrier?

It is the phone's PIN - I have always been with Orange so no service provider issues

So if your talking about your passcode, I don't beleive there's anyway inside the phone without deleting all your data. * if your okay with that* you may write you passcode wrong 10 times and itl factory wipe everything and then you'll have no more passcode when getting in the phone.
