I'm trying to stream videos via Apple TV or WD from my BlackBerry Passport. Is there any app that is available that would work for me to do this easily. I'm not having any luck with the android apps from snap or amazon. Please help.

I agree Miracast is very good. But you do need that adaptor.

If you don't have a Miracast adaptor, you could also use the built-in DLNA "Play On" feature. You mentioned you had videos on the Passport and want to play them using your WD media player.

I have the WDTV media player and it works perfectly with DLNA. The 2 keys things to make it work are: 1. the file for the video you want to play must be on your phone, and 2. both your phone and your WDTV must be connected to the same wifi network.

Correct me if I am wrong but you could purchase a slimport to hdmi adapter for about $10 on ebay. I ordered one and not here yet.
