    I've asked my devise to decrypt (unencrypt) the media card... and it's barely done 20% in 72hrs. This seems to drain the battery within 5hrs... rather than the usual 14-18hrs.

    Is there any way to speed up this process??? At this rate it's going to take several weeks, and I'm already sick of being tethered to to an outlet every few hours.

    I doubt there is a way to speed it up without shutting off the phone and ruining everything. You best let it go.
