Is there a way to answer the phone directly on speaker phone instead of having to answer it and then hit the speaker button. The Passport isn't the best phone to be holding to your face when you don't have to.

for all phones you need to answer and hit speakerphone. I have never heard of one that allows speakerphone answering

Land line phones have that option. It's not to far out of the question for a cell phone to be able to do it.
