    Totally randomly, someone will text me, and it will not show up in my SMS messages; I will only see it, when I visit HUB, for some other reason; it shows up "Yellow", as Unread.

    I will CLICK to read - and... nothing!!
    It's nowhere!

    I text the person back; and it still doesn't appear.
    I can't read the message - only a hub preview, which is one line, you know.

    IS IT JUST ME?! 😕

    It happens in no order; my mum will be texting me, and I'll get them.
    Occasionally, I won't.

    My friend and I will be texting non-stop.
    She'll text me later - and I'll notice it, unread, in my hub.

    Hopefully I can attach a screenshot of the latest one I didn't notice; I was doing some online work, and a website text me for action.
    It did NOT show up in my messages.

    They messaged me again, later, for new action - and that one showed up normally in my SMS msgs.

    You should start with which phone/model you're using.

    Try app Textra. I installed when I first got my K1. Never used the native SMS service.

    More likely it's a carrier thing - have you asked your carrier about their SMS support?

    Having a similar issue, but with only one of my contacts. At home I use Mighty Text to field and reply to messages...No problem there. Message shows in "Messages" but not the Hub.

    Set is a BB Motion running v. 8 operating system. Carrier is AT&T.

    Sorry - I've been having trouble signing-in; email not recognised, started a new account - ANYWAY.
    I also thought I posted this in a KEYone Forum - guess not!

    I'm in Australia; BB KEYone; KOGAN Carrier. Everything was working *just* fine until recently. I'm sorry I can't recall if it was after the SMS APP updated; it used to have COOL COLOURS... after the update, DULL PASTELS which bum me out...
    I have a picture; I swear we used to be able to upload pics here? - ugh. I'm so lost.

    I'd also like to add a disclaimer that I have PTSD, so my brain can't remember things very well; on the internet, you have to communicate these things, or someone is bound to call you a "dumb-dumb" for not knowing simple things.

    TEXTRA APP is *amazing*!

    I just spent ages customising colour vibes and speech bubbles...

    Upon installation, my latest "missing" message appeared, immediately!

    *happy*

    UGH...

    Now TEXTRA tells me my "free trial" is over; and that from now on, I have to pay or it comes with ads.

    So that's something to be aware of! I wasn't, when I downloaded it.

    (Sorry about nightmode image)

    Is there a messaging app that's reliable *and* free?

    Starting to miss the old, trustworthy phones, whose job was just to SERVE YOU.

    Unlike the smartphones of today; where it's OUR job to serve them! SMS shows up in HUB, only! Not in my msgs :(-screenshot_20190209-060216.jpeg

    It's only 4 bucks. Well worth it in my opinion.

    When you buy a phone, its ONE TASK should be to "communicate" with people; calls, texts. Any basic phone does this *flawlessly*.

    On principle, "buying a texting app" seems redundant.

    Is it $4 per month?
    $4 one-off?
    Is that USD?

    Some of us are homeless; way more common than you might think, these days - it doesn't 'looks' like it used to.
    And yes; we have phones.
    Reliable ones are best; but what's the point in buying a nice, reliable phone, if it's just going to get lost, stolen, or broken, due to all the constant moving around...?

    $4, here and there, is just leaking $$ when your life has no foundations.

    ONE THING I'd like to be able to rely on, is my phone.

    Perhaps you could tell whomever served you the KEYone, you would prefer something old and trustworthy.

    Sorry didn't mean to incite or aware of your situation. I ran the app for several months with ads. The annoyance waned over time.

    Sadly, this is the GooBerry age now. BB10 had everything stock. Now we need to buy apps to make the phone "basic"

    Everything I Love to use to improve the quality of my life, becomes defunct; whether its Choc-Berry Big M's, or BlackBerry Phones.

    What I *want*, is a phone that performs its ONE TASK of communicating effectively, with other human beings; which now includes online.
    * calls
    * texts
    * online
    * outerspace

    These are the order of importance.
