Hey I have a BlackBerry Keyone and been having an issue the last few weeks whenever I get an SMS text message I see the message in my hub, can read roughly the first 60 characters but when I open the message, it's blank - no message showing. Even after I respond with a message it doesn't appear.

It seems to be happening quite frequently and quite disruptive. I've tried restarting many times, checking for software updates and nothing works.

Is anyone else having a similar issue?

Try a different texting app? Many people like Textra and Yaata

I had the same problem. Switched texting default from Messages to Signal, simply because I had Signal already installed. During syncing of existing texts, all texts that were not displayed in Messages showed up in Signal.

I have the same issue. Super annoying. Is this an Android or a Hub+ issue? I've been having this issue for a few months ever since I got the Keyone.

I just got a Keyone about 2.5 weeks ago and I'm having the same issue. I noticed it with one particular contact. This is a contact that I occasionally had weird SMS stuff with on my BB Classic. Has anyone else transferred over from BB10? I'm trying to love the Keyone, but I don't love Android and the many ways there are to have glitches now.

Is Signal how you back up your SMS messages? I'm looking for a backup solution now since I've started seeing this issue.

Signal will not in any way I am aware back up SMS off your phone, but it at least seems to show all the SMS which have been received.

Thanks! I downloaded Textra which has restored my missing messages. Signal seems like a different version of WhatsApp and they don't bring over the backup file from BB10 to the Keyone, so trying to steer clear of those types of apps in the event I change platforms again.

Does deleting old messages help anyone? I thought this might be fixed but now happening again.
