If you pickup the Q10 you may love the experience and then switch to the Passport to get The BB beast!

Whatever model you finally chose, you really may love the OS, we are just lacking on the app front a bit, but if you don't miss any app applicable welcome to the family

If miss any app, just need to Install Amazon app Store, and Install any Android or another OS app. :-)

If you don't mind so called app gap then you should try it, but I recommend try OS 10 not older BlackBerry devices, perhaps Z10 is a nice start for you and it's right, someone said you should buy refurbished or secondhand device in case you don't like BlackBerry so you don't feel too much regret

After all I think what makes BlackBerry most awesome is BlackBerry Hub which is why I recommend you to try OS 10

Thanks for all the input guys! The issue is that I can repair my iPhone for about $80-$100 and I'm looking for something that is cheap. I can't seem to find a refrubished Z30 for a decent price. Would getting something like the Z10 or Q10 be a waste of money?
The Q10 is a very good phone. The battery life on the Z10 is not good but it comes with removable battery. When I had my Z10, I had the battery charger bundle and a couple of extra batts so when the battery died, I just put a new one in. No wall hugging at all. The Q10 has a physical keyboard (unlike the Z10) and a longer lasting removable battery, most people would get through the day on one charge. If your priority is messaging whether email or text, the Q10 is the better option. If you like a larger screen, the Z10 is fine. If you do make the change, don't forget to go on itunes and turn off imessage. If you don't do that, some texts will get lost.

Yes, switch to Blackberry! The hub as far as communication..emails texts facebook twitter...et al. All in one place and fast with no glitches. Gesture...much faster than tap tap tap than with iphones and droids. Then security...phone encryption is built in. Build quality, just by feeling the the phone you can tell the build quality is good. Ability to adjust app permissions to keep most Apps out of you contacts is a great feature. Very little target marketing and advertising with Blackberry and their apps. Web browser is superior to most droids and Apples...try it, if you don't like it take it back, but I'm 99% sure after you use it for a week you will fall in love with it.

Thanks everyone for your input! I'm definitely going to try it. I'm probably going to go with the Q10 because I want to try Blackberry's physical keyboard.

    "Should I switch to BlackBerry?"

Many words here when a simple and resounding "YES" will do...

Go and get a Z30. You will be impressed, and once you try the virtual keyboard, you will not want anything different.

On top of that, you have Android compatibility just in case you don't find any BlackBerry native app.
