Hey friends can we change the shift key on KeyONE to Speed key ime on k2. ?

You can do one better by using an app called "Buttons remapper"

If you buy the full version, it will give you full "Speed key" replication ability on the Key1.

The best part though, is you can set the "speed key" to any key you want.

On my Key1 I personally set it to L Shift.

This keeps R shift for Cntrl-copy/paste/select all/undo/redo, and it keeps the currency key as a currency key, which mean it doesn't affect Cyrillic keyboards.

Best yet, even though I've assigned the L shift key as the speed key combo, I can still use it to press and hold for text selection.

Sadly, this can't be done on the Key2 using the same app.. at least I haven't figure out how yet.

On my key2 using this app, I set the notification shade to drop down with a speed key double tap.

Just goes to show BB really didn't think through the best way to implement the speed key idea without affecting all their other keyboard options on the Key2

Interesting.

I don't install many apps since I have to go through a vetting / white listing process but getting Speed Key functionality in the KEYone would be worth the effort.
