Hey, all. I've had my passport for a couple weeks now and I love it. Limited in some regards, but I'm figuring it out.

I'd love to hold down F to bring up Facebook.com (since Hub can't load anything besides messages and the app also seems limited) or hold down G to bring up google.com (because I dislike Bing being the default search engine but can't find any way around that).

I know how to assign shortcuts to apps, but how about websites?

I don't know about assigning keys for websites but I use an app called bookmark pro to do that.

Open the browser, touch the address bar, start typing and you will see a choice for different search engines in the upper right hand corner. Pick your poison.

    Thanks rusty.
Links to bbw apps never work for me. What's the name of the app?

If you go to settings and tweak your universal search to prioritise the browser you can make it so typing 'fa' then hitting enter quickly will open facebook.com.

Three taps is pretty quick for an app that I like to keep hidden.

I prioritise other stuff in settings so I need to type 'fac' then flick up to the predicted facebook.com word prediction and hit enter quickly.

Most of my web browser shortcuts aren't websites, they're pages within websites. Eg for bureau of meteorology's rain radar : I type 'rad' then tap the prediction, afl ladder I just type 'la' and it pops up in the search prediction.
