I have a blackberry z3 and the proximity sensor is working fine as I checked on BBVE. But the screen doesn't go black during calls like other smartphones. Any fix?

Some of the leaked OSes had this issue with the proximity sensor. That's the issue here I would think regardless of what BBVE says. Maybe load a different OS?
