Safe mode option on curve 9300

What issues of safe mode option on curve 9300? Does BlackBerry 10 device have that features?

I used to boot into safe mode on my 9650 by holding down the end key I think. One of those keys. lol I can't remember which. Why do you need safe mode anyway?
