    A friend suggested this might be possible and I got excited. If an Android can be rooted down to bare minimums, is it possible to install BlackBerry OS 10?

    Not going to root the Priv. The ability to harden the OS was the only reason that Android became an option for BlackBerry.

    Let's imagine that some genius cracked BlackBerry's software encryption and hardware kryptography and rooted Priv, there is still the part of recoding BB10 OS to work on this new hardware.
